Race Winning return to Single Seaters – F4

Following a 3 season break, Penitus Motorsport made a successful return to single seaters at the Brands Hatch and Donington rounds of the 2014 BRDC F4 Championship.

A last minute call saw Mark arrive at Brands Hatch on Saturday to see rising Brazilian driver Gaetano Di Mauro claim his first Formula 4 Pole Position for PetroBall Racing.

A text book drive followed, leading from lights to flag, giving new team PetroBall Racing Limited their first ever win. Race 2 was less successful, with a puncture on the first lap leading to an accident at Hawthorns.

The PetroBall team did a fantastic job to have the car ready for Race 3. Gaetano once again demonstrated he can run at the front, starting from P2 on the grid; although unable to challenge eventual winner Arjun Maini, the Brazilian was never threatened.

With a first and second place, Brands Hatch was PetroBall Racing’s most successful race weekend.
