Penitus Motorsport Ltd. was established by professional race engineer Mark Wynne.

Prior to starting the company, Mark most recently worked full time for McLaren GT as the sole customer race engineer; successfully working within customer teams to optimise the performance of their cars. Mark began his association with McLaren GT in 2011 during the development phase of the 12C GT3.

Mark proudly continued his relationship with McLaren GT through Penitus Motorsport Ltd.

Before McLaren GT, Mark was race engineer at CRS Racing. During this time the successful transition was made to GT Racing; winning the 2011 British GT Championship in the capacity of principle engineer. Alongside the British GT program Mark ran a Ferrari 430 GT2 in the LMS and joined the team’s ILMC squad for the 12 hours of Sebring and the 24 hours of Le Mans.

Mark’s relationship with CRS began in 2010 running 2 cars in the Formula Renault UK season, finishing the season as top rookie with Robert Foster-Jones.

Between 2005 and 2009, Mark worked in the GP2 Series, progressing through the ranks from number 1 mechanic, ultimately to Race Engineer with David Price Racing.

Graduating from Oxford Brookes University with BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering in 2004, Mark was a founder member of GulfSport, spending his first year after  university living in Bahrain.

Whilst studying Mark cut his teeth in the EuroBOSS series between 2002 and 2004, winning the championship in 2004 with Scott Mansell.

Over the years Mark has undertaken numerous freelance positions including the BTCC with SEAT in 2008, and World Series By Renault with Fortec.
